Cardinal Giuseppe Siri, Pope Gregory XVII, The Pope in Red and The Siri Thesis Exposed
Giuseppe Siri (20 May 1906 – 2 May 1989) was an Italian Catholic priest who served as Archbishop of Genoa from 1946 to 1987 and was made a Cardinal in 1953 by Pope Pius XII. Supporters of the Siri thesis also refer to him as Pope Gregory XVII and the Pope in Red; they claim that he was elected to the Papacy in the 1958 and 1963 conclaves, instead of Angelo Roncalli and Giovanni Montini [John XXIII and Paul VI], but because he was very much of a traditional Catholic mind against the neo-modernists, certain forces threatened to kill his family if he accepted.
 Until he fell into manifest heresy.
 If he ever was validly elected to begin with and accepted the position, which is not perfectly clear at this point, although much evidence points to this conclusion, as we will see.
 Paul IV's 1559 Bull Cum ex apostolatus officio stipulates that a heretic cannot be validly elected Pope or Cardinal.
Pope Paul IV, Cum ex Apostolatus Officio, Feb. 15, 1559: "6. In addition, that if ever at any time it shall appear that any… Cardinal of the aforesaid Roman Church… or even the Roman Pontiff, prior to his promotion or his elevation as Cardinal or Roman Pontiff, has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy: (i) the promotion or elevation, even if it shall have been uncontested and by the unanimous assent of all the Cardinals, shall be null, void and worthless;"
What is the Siri Thesis?
The Siri Thesis is a conspiracy theory which holds that actually Cardinal Giuseppe Siri was elected Pope, after the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958, but the newly-elected Gregory XVII, formerly Cardinal Siri, was put under grave duress or coercion - threatened and prevented from taking the Papal Chair (i.e. from publically proclaiming His Pontificacy) and illegally replaced by Angelo Roncalli (John XXIII).
Whether Siri was truly elected to be pope or not, John XXIII's election would have still been invalid (null and void) because John XXIII was a manifest heretic before his election, which is confirmed in his heretical teachings as an Antipope.
The rumours says that in 1958, during the Conclave, the enemies of the Church were threatening "Siri" with mass destruction (some say a nuclear attack on the Vatican even) if he took the Chair of Peter (i.e. "Cardinal Siri" after supposedly being canonically elected, accepted the papacy and chose the name Gregory XVII - the enemies within the Conclave themselves used ferocious and vicious threats against the newly elected Pope Gregory XVII, if he publicly were to announce he was the True Pope).
Since proponents of the Siri Thesis believe Gregory XVII was coerced to resign the papacy as a result of violence, this means his resignation would have been invalidated according to Church Law.
The 1917 Code of Canon Law, Canon 185: "Resignation is invalid by law if it was made out of grave fear unjustly inflicted, fraud, substantial error, or simony."
The Catholic Encyclopedia, "Abdication", 1907, Vol. 1, p. 32: "… A valid Abdication of the Pope must be a free act, hence a forced resignation of the papacy would be null and void, as more than one ecclesiastical decree has declared."
This means that the subsequent election of John XXIII would not have been valid if Siri was forced to resign. It also means that all the subsequent claimants to the Papacy (after Pope Pius XII) would be impostors (Anti-popes) by this fact alone, if Siri was the true Pope. And he would have remained as true Pope under the name of Gregory XVII until either his death or abdication. He would also have lost the office if he ever fell into some heresy. The Catholic Church dogmatically teaches that a heretic would automatically cease to be a member of the Church and hence, a heretic would cease to be the Pope. The Church also teaches that a heretic couldn't be validly elected pope (or remain pope) if he "has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy" prior to his election (Cum ex apostolatus officio).
The Catholic Encyclopedia, "Heresy", 1914, Vol. 7, p. 261: "The pope himself, if notoriously guilty of heresy, would cease to be pope because he would cease to be a member of the Church."
Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi (# 23), June 29, 1943: "For not every sin, however grave it may be, is such as of its own nature to sever a man from the Body of the Church, as does schism or heresy or apostasy."
Pope Innocent III, Eius exemplo, Dec. 18, 1208: "By the heart we believe and by the mouth we confess the one Church, not of heretics, but the Holy Roman, Catholic, and Apostolic Church outside of which we believe that no one is saved."
As was noted already, Paul IV's 1559 Bull Cum ex apostolatus officio stipulates that a heretic cannot be validly elected Pope or Cardinal, while Canon 188.4 of the pre-Conciliar (1917) Code of Canon Law provides that a cleric who publicly defects from the Catholic faith automatically loses any office that he holds in the Church.
The 1917 Code of Canon Law, Canon 188.4: "There are certain causes which effect the tacit (silent) resignation of an office, which resignation is accepted in advance by operation of the law, and hence is effective without any declaration. These causes are… (4) if he has publicly fallen away from the faith."
So to summarize the Siri Thesis: It is basically the claim - based on the testimony of witnesses - that:
following the death of Pope Pius XII, Cardinal Siri was elected Pope; and
following the death of Paul VI, he was again elected Pope; and
on both occasions he was forced to abdicate - whereupon subsequent claimants to the papacy would be antipopes; and
therefore, there has not been a valid pope since the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958, and
as a consequence, the acts of the post Pius XII "popes" and of Vatican II are null and void.
Siri (a.k.a. "Pope Gregory XVII") expired on May 2, 1989 A.D., and is said, according to those who hold the Siri Thesis, to have passed on the true pontificate to an as yet unknown successor, who will emerge in due time after the eclipse of the Church predicted at La Salette has come to an end. However, since Siri not only continued in communion with the Vatican II antipopes and called these antipopes "Popes", but also consented to the heretical decrees of the Second Vatican Council, we can only judge him to be a heretic by his external works and condemn him as a heretic. It is absurd to say that a man who calls other people the "Pope" should be called or deemed by us as the "true Pope". If Siri ever was the Pope is not clear, but he certainly became a manifest heretic the moment he consented to the heresies of Vatican II or obstinately continued in communion with the Antipopes after seeing their outrageous, manifest heresies.
The Siri Thesis are mainly promoted by some Sedevacantists, although knowledge of this theory is not widespread at this point.
Sedevacantism comes from the Latin sede vacante, which means "seat vacant." It is the position held by traditional Catholics who claim that the Papal Seat, the Holy See, has been vacant since the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958. Sedevacantists believe that the subsequent claimants to the papal office — John XXIII (1958–1963), Paul VI (1963–1978), John Paul I (1978), John Paul II (1978–2005), Benedict XVI (2005-2013) and Francis I (2013-) — have been neither true Catholics nor true, legitimate popes. Sedevacantism owes its origins to the rejection of the theological and disciplinary changes implemented following the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965). Sedevacantists reject this Council and all its decrees, most notably its documents on ecumenism and religious liberty, which contradicts the traditional teachings of the Catholic Church and denies the unique mission of Catholicism as the one true religion, outside of which there is no salvation. Sedevacantists also reject the New Mass of Paul VI, promulgated on 3 April 1969, as invalid since it has changed the words of consecration and deviated from the tradition of the Church.
The Cardinal Siri Elections in Brief – relating to the Papal Conclaves and the Invalid Elections of John XXIII  and Paul VI 
White Smoke, But No Pope
On October 26, 1958, white smoke was seen emerging from the Sistine Chapel. White smoke indicates that a new Pope has been elected. But no Pope emerged. This was reported by newspapers throughout the world and heard on radio. Cardinals were even seen from the windows of the apostolic palace waving to the crowd – something not permitted if the conclave is still in session. They, too, thought a Pope had been elected. Here is a newspaper report from Oct. 27, 1958:
"VATICAN CITY (AP) - Cardinals balloted Sunday without electing a pope. A mix-up in smoke signals made it appear for about half an hour that Pius XII's successor had been chosen. For a time 200,000 Romans and tourists in huge Saint Peter's Square were certain the church had a new pontiff. Millions of others who listened to radios throughout Italy and Europe also were certain. They were certain. They heard the Vatican speaker shout exultantly: 'A pope is elected..'"The scene around the Vatican was one of incredible confusion. White smoke from a little chimney atop the Vatican is the traditional signal announcing the election of a new pope. Black smoke indicates failure. Twice during the day smoke billowed from the chimney. At noon the smoke at first came white but it quickly turned unquestionably black. This was the sign the cardinals had failed to elect on the first two ballots, at nightfall white smoke billowed from the slender chimney for a full five minutes. For all the outside world knew, a new pontiff had been chosen."Clouds of smoke were caught in search lights trained on the Sistine Chapel chimney. 'Bianco! Bianco!' roared many in the crowd. 'White, white.'"The Vatican Radio announced the smoke was white. The announcer declared the cardinals at that moment probably were going through the rites of adoration for a new supreme pontiff. For a long time Vatican Radio stuck to its insistence the smoke was white."Even high Vatican officials were fooled. Callori di Vignale, governor of the conclave, and Sigismondo Chigi, the conclave Marshall, rushed to take up the positions assigned to them. The Palatine Guard was called from its barracks and ordered to prepare to go to St. Peter's Basilica for (the) announcement of the new pope's name. But the guard was ordered back to barracks before it reached the square. The Swiss Guard was also alerted.
"Chigi, in an interview with the Italian radio, said uncertainty reigned in the palace. He added that this confusion persisted even after the smoke had subsided and until assurances were received from within the conclave that black smoke was intended. He said he had been at three other conclaves and never before seen smoke as varied in color as Sunday's. He told newsmen later he would arrange to have the cardinals informed of Sunday's smoke confusion in the hope that something can be done to remedy the situation Monday."Priests and others working within the Vatican grounds saw the white smoke. They started to cheer. They waved kerchiefs enthusiastically, and figures of conclavists – cardinal's assistants – in the windows of the apostolic palace waved back. Possibly they, too, believed a pope had been elected."The crowd waited in agony of suspense. Any pope elected would ordinarily appear on the balcony within twenty minutes. The crowd waited a full half hour now wondering whether the smoke was meant to be black or white. Doubt set in swiftly. Many in the vast crowd began to drift away. But still there was confusion. News media had flashed around the world the word that a new pope had been chosen.
"Telephone calls poured into the Vatican, jamming its exchange. As time wore on and doubts increased, the callers all asked one question: "Black or white?""After a half hour, radios began to chatter excitedly that the answer was still uncertain. Only well after the time when a new pope should have appeared on the balcony above St. Peter's Square was it certain that the voting would have to resume Monday at 10 a.m. (3 a.m. CST). The crowd now aware of this, dissipated quickly. Grayish wisps of smoke still spiraled from the chapel chimney..." (Cardinals Fail To Elect Pope In 4 Ballots; Mix-up In Smoke Signals Causes 2 False Reports," The Houston Post, October 27, 1958, Section 1, pages 1 & 7.)
The Vatican Radio also made initial announcement that a Pope had been elected October 26, 1958:
"Too few people realize how easy it is to get the Vatican Radio on the medium waveband (196.2 metres) on any average wireless set in this country. It used not to be so, but so it has been for a year now, since the late Pope inaugurated the powerful new transmitters at Santa Maria di Galeria, and nothing was easier last Sunday than to sit in London listening to the excited uncertainty of the announcer about the colour of the smoke. At five o'clock by our time – six o'clock in Rome – he suddenly said, 'The smoke is white… there is absolutely no doubt. A Pope has been elected. Habemus papam.' But then the smoke seemed to turn black, and he said that perhaps one ought to wait for confirmation of the news; then it was plainly white again, a great cry of 'Evviva il Papa' arose from the crowd in the Piazza, and the announcer threw caution to the winds; the white smoke, he said, had been too much, and too steady, to leave room for doubt. Then caution crept back again and he said that only when the lights went on in the Hall of Benedictions could they feel certain that a Pope had been elected. But, he insisted, the slightly dusky colour of the white smoke could only be due to a technical difficulty of some sort; it was too abundant, there was too much of it, for anyone to think otherwise. Yet the minutes ticked on and no lights appeared; it was twenty past five before the announcer really began to think that a mistake must have been made after all." ("The Vatican Radio", The [London] Tablet, November 1, 1958, p. 387.)
This white smoke clearly indicated the election of the new Pope; but something strange had occurred inside the Sistine Chapel which prevented the newly elected Pope from appearing, and which left the crowd – and the waiting world – confused and bewildered. It was only two days later that Angelo Roncalli [John XXIII] was elected, and after his election John XXIII held a mysterious multi-hour post-election meeting with all the participants in the conclave. Why did John XXIII have to hold this post-election meeting? Did it concern the first set of white smoke and the election of the real Pope?
"John XXIII asked the cardinals to remain in the conclave another night instead of leaving immediately as was customary… to caution them again against revealing the secrets of his election to outsiders..." (Alden Hatch, A Man Named John, NY, NY: Hawthorn Books Inc., 1963, p. 163.)
"After greeting and blessing the cheering throng in St. Peter's Square . . . John XXIII ordered the Cardinals not to disperse. He wished to meet with them in secret. This was a burden on several of the Cardinals who were in their nineties and in failing health, but in deference to the new Pope they all stayed. It must have been a very sensitive meeting, for when Secretary of State Tardini tried to enter, mistakenly believing the conclave was over, he was promptly excommunicated by France's Cardinal Tisserant." (Mark Fellows, Fatima in Twilight, p. 154)
The mystery behind the white smoke and the secret post-election meeting of the 1958 Conclave may not have been uncovered if it were not for Mr. Scortesco. Scortesco was the cousin of two members of the Vatican's Noble Guard, including the President of the Noble Guard, which was responsible for guarding the conclaves of 1958 and 1963 and making sure that no communication occurred with the outside. Scortesco revealed the following in a published letter:
Scortesco: "In the case of John XXIII (1958) and of Paul VI (1963), there were communications with the outside. It was thus known that there were several ballots in the first conclave  which resulted in the election of Cardinal Tedeschini and in the second , Cardinal Siri." (Excerpt from the French Newsletter, Introibo, No. 61, July-August-September, 1988, Association Noel Pinot, Angers, France, p. 3.)
Scortesco obtained this shocking information from members of the Noble Guard. The letter was published in Introibo. And Scortesco was found burned alive in his bed shortly after the publication of this letter. So Scortesco, prior to being knocked off, revealed that Cardinal Tedeschini, not Antipope John XXIII or Siri, was actually elected first in 1958. And Cardinal Siri, not Antipope Paul VI, was elected first in 1963.
In the letter quoted above, Scortesco also mentioned communication with the "outside." His later writings indicate that this communication involved the B'nai Brith (Jewish Freemasonry). If communications with the "outside" unlawfully influence a Papal election, this means that such an election is invalid. The "outside" communication with the Freemasons most probably prevented Tedeschini and Siri from having the free ability to accept their elections, probably by various threats, including death, as has been reported. The Communists and the Freemasons knew that neither Siri nor Tedeschini would go along with their evil attempts to destroy the Catholic Church; so they had to block their elections. If the "outside" communication mentioned by Scortesco did influence Tedeschini and Siri from having the free ability to accept their elections, then the subsequent elections of Roncalli [John XXIII] and Montini [Paul VI] were absolutely invalid for that fact alone.
Irregularities and Nefarious Activities at the 1958 Conclave
Siri admitted to irregularities and to nefarious activities at the 1958 conclave but proves his cowardice by binding himself to satanic secrets that can never bind true Catholics.
"Infiltrators? Yes..." 30 Days, November 1991, p. 55: "It was February 1988. Two 30 Days reporters were on their way to the North Italian port city of Genoa to interview the Cardinal Archbishop Giuseppe Siri. It was the year of the Popes - the 30th anniversary of the death of Pius XII and the election of John XXIII and the tenth anniversary of the election of John Paul II. There was no better witness to the Pontificates of these three successors of Peter than Siri, who had been a papabile himself in the three conclaves. "Siri was asked a question he did not expect, about the truth of periodic allegations that Masonry had infiltrated the Church. The elderly Cardinal did not answer and, suggesting that he did not want to make any public declaration on the issue, he pointed to the tape recorder that was switched on. Then he made a gesture with his other hand that was very eloquent. What he meant was: 'Of course, there was infiltration.' The tape recorder was turned off and Siri added: 'This is a very serious matter, and I have first-hand sources. I have written my record of this and other events in the life of the Church, which will be published in 50 years' time. But for now, I would prefer not to say anything more.' But the Cardinal did confide in his great, personal friend, Raimondo Spiazzi, a Dominican theologian in the Pius XII mould who was the dean of the Angelicum's Social Sciences faculty. Spiazzi reports part of the conversation in the biography he recently dedicated to his late friend: 'Siri said we had to pray for future Conclaves, for grace so that those who would participate would be truly free of any type of conditioning or influence, not only in ethnical or political terms but also social. We had to pray that "there would be no manipulation by any sect." He was referring to Masonry on the basis of direct information he had received from affiliates and of his knowledge of the ruses Masonry deployed to ensnare Vatican exponents and their offices. He did not hesitate to name names and he spoke of the danger even for the Conclave. Perhaps this was why he proposed abolishing the secrecy aspect so that events could take place in the light of day.'"
“Cardinal” Giuseppe Siri to Louis Remy in 1985: "I am bound by the secret. This secret [of the conclave] is horrible. I would have books to write about the different conclaves. Very serious things have taken place. But I can say nothing." (Louis Remy, "The Pope: Could he be Cardinal Siri?" After the First session of the apostate Second Vatican Council, Siri said:
"... I am bound by the secret of the council. But I have written down a full account of the council as I saw it. It is in the archives of my house, to be kept until after I have passed on. The Holy Father himself [John XXIII] asked me to compose such an account." (Walter Abbot, S.J., Twelve Council Fathers, The Macmillan Company, New York, p. 58-59)
Catholics are bound to profess the faith openly when it is threatened. Evil, unjust, or satanic oaths are never binding, and must be repudiated and exposed.
Concerning John XXIII: It is also alleged and testified by credible witnesses that John XXIII became a Freemason prior to his so-called elevation to the papacy as part of a Masonic plan to take over the Catholic Church, and that he was thus disqualified by this fact alone from the papal office by reason of incurring automatic (latae sententiae) excommunication.
Yves Marsaudon, French Freemason and author, claims that Roncalli [John XXIII] became a thirty-third degree Mason while a nuncio at France. Mary Ball Martinez wrote that the French Republican Guards from their posts observed: "…the Nuncio [Roncalli] in civilian clothes leaving his residence to attend the Thursday evening meetings of the Grand Orient [Masonic Lodge] of France. Whereas exposure to such a dramatic conflict of loyalties would unnerve the average man, be he Catholic or Freemason, Angelo Roncalli seems to have taken it in his stride." (Paul I. Murphy and R. Rene Arlington, La Popessa, 1983, pp. 332-333.)
The Magazine 30 Days also held an interview several years ago with the head of the Italian Freemasons. The Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Italy stated: "As for that, it seems that John XXIII was initiated (into a Masonic Lodge) in Paris and participated in the work of the Istanbul Workshops."
Yves Marsaudon, 33 degree Scottish Rite Freemason: "The sense of universalism that is rampant in Rome these days is very close to our purpose for existence… with all our hearts we support the revolution of John XXIII." (Ecumenism Viewed by a Traditional Freemason, Paris: Ed. Vitiano; quoted by Dr. Rama Coomaraswamy, The Destruction of the Christian Tradition, p. 247.)
The evidence of Cardinal Siri's elections, as well as the communication with the outside, demonstrates that something uncanonical went on in the conclaves of 1958 and 1963, as Scortesco revealed. This makes perfect sense because we know, by divine faith, that Antipope Paul VI could not have possibly possessed the keys of Peter, since he solemnly bound his subjects to the heresies of Vatican II. Vatican II could not have been bound in heaven, so we know that Antipope Paul VI had no power to bind on earth, for he did try to bind Vatican II on earth. And Antipope John XXIII also could not have been a true Pope, since he set the table for the apostasy while being a heretic himself.
In the Sept. 2004 Issue of Inside the Vatican there is an interview with Fr. Charles-Roux. Fr. Charles-Roux says:
"There were certain irregularities about the election during that 1958 conclave, as Cardinal Tisserant has himself acknowledged. Some say Agagianian was elected, others Siri, others some other cardinal, and that the camerlengo [=chamberlain] then annulled the election. In any case, I'm quite sure John XXIII chose his name, the name of an antipope [of the 15th century], quite consciously, to show he had been irregularly elected." (Fr. Charles-Roux, Inside the Vatican, 09/04, p. 41. Fr. Roux was a priest who said Mass on the set of The Passion of the Christ)
Note: It is possible Cardinal Siri was elected Pope and unlawfully forced to resign - thus invalidating the "elections" of John XXIII and Paul VI. But his failure to oppose the Vatican II apostasy, stand up for his office and denounce the Antipopes in the decades following those fateful days preclude Catholics from holding that he remained Pope in the decades following the 1958 and 1963 conclaves. Cardinal Siri may have been paralyzed by fear, uncertainty and confusion about his status and what to do about it; nevertheless one cannot recognize that he remained Catholic, Pope or Cardinal in the years following his elections because, at least in the external forum, he did not stand up for his office or oppose the Antipopes and the Vatican II sect.
According to the teachings of the Church, a person who externally joins himself in communion with heretics cannot be considered a Catholic, and hence, such a person cannot be the Pope. In the Early Church, those lapsed Catholics who renounced the faith (apostatized) when they were threatened with torture or death was considered apostates or “lapsi” (even if they believed in Jesus Christ in their heart) and had to do penance before they could be joined to the communion of the church again.
Former FBI Consultant Acknowledges Siri's Election
Former FBI consultant Paul L. Williams cites declassified U.S. intelligence documents showing that Cardinal Siri was elected Pope Gregory XVII at the conclave that, two days later, produced John XXIII. In 2003, Paul L. Williams published a book called The Vatican Exposed: Money, Murder, and the Mafia (Prometheus Books). Williams, who is not a Catholic, asserts:
"In 1954 Count Della Torre, editor of the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, warned [Pope] Pius XII of [Cardinal Angelo] Roncalli's Communist sympathies. Other members of the 'Black Nobility' expressed similar concerns.
"Nor did Roncalli [later known as "Pope John XXIII"] escape the attention of the FBI and CIA. The agencies began to accumulate thick files on him and the questionable activities of other 'progressives' within the Vatican, including Monsignor Giovanni Battista Montini (the future Paul VI).
"Pius XII had appointed Cardinal Giuseppe Siri as his desired successor. Siri was rabidly anti-Communist, an intransigent traditionalist in matters of church doctrine, and a skilled bureaucrat. . . .
"In 1958 [on October 26], when the cardinals were locked away in the Sistine Chapel to elect a new pope, mysterious events began to unfold. On the third ballot, Siri, according to FBI sources, obtained the necessary votes and was elected as Pope Gregory XVII. White smoke poured from the chimney of the chapel to inform the faithful that a new pope had been chosen. The news was announced with joy at 6 P.M. on Vatican radio. The announcer said, "The smoke is white. . . . There is absolutely no doubt. A pope has been elected." . . .
"But the new pope failed to appear. Question began to arise whether the smoke was white or gray. To quell such doubts, Monsignor Santaro, secretary of the Conclave of Cardinals, informed the press that the smoke, indeed, had been white and that a new pope had been elected. The waiting continued. By evening Vatican radio announced that the results remained uncertain. On October 27, 1958, the Houston Post headlined: 'Cardinals Fail to elect pope in 4 Ballots: Mix-Up in Smoke Signals Cause False Reports.'
"But the reports had been valid. On the fourth ballot, according to FBI sources, Siri again obtained the necessary votes and was elected supreme pontiff. But the French cardinals annulled the results, claiming that the election would cause widespread riots and the assassination of several prominent bishops behind the Iron Curtain.
"The cardinals opted to elect Cardinal Frederico Tedischini as a "transitional pope," but Tedischini was too ill to accept the position.
"Finally, on the third day of balloting, Roncalli received the necessary support to become Pope John XXIII. . . ." (Paul L. Williams, The Vatican Exposed,Amherst, NY: Prometheus Books, 2003, pp. 90-92.)

Department of State secret file, "Cardinal Siri," issue date: April 10, 1961, declassified: February 28, 1994.
The testimony of this former FBI consultant, based upon FBI intelligence, confirms that Cardinal Siri was elected and took the name "Gregory XVII." It confirms what others have said: Cardinal Siri was prevented from freely assuming the office by the French pack of conspirators and threats. If this FBI intelligence is correct, then the subsequent "election" of Angelo Roncalli [John XXIII] was absolutely and totally invalid. It is worthy of note that Cardinal Siri's election is not the subject of Mr. Williams' book. He simply mentions it, almost in passing, and with no apparent motive for making this up – lending further credence to its veracity.
Thus Cardinal Siri, who was therefore the fifth Pope elected last century, is said to have promptly accepted the office and announced that he would take the name "Gregory XVII." Then, a strident outcry of protest was heard from some of the radical French Cardinals, some of whom were said to be Freemasons, who jumped to their feet to intimidate the new Pope with the threat that they would immediately establish an international schismatic church, if he emerged from the conclave as pope. Shaken badly, Siri is supposed to have replied: "if you do not want me, then elect someone else." By this one statement, which was taken as his abdication, would come the apocalyptic nightmare that has resulted with the Vatican II "Church."
All of this explains why at 6:00 p.m. on October 26, 1958 white smoke billowed from the Sistine Chapel for a full five minutes; it explains why the Palatine and Swiss Guards were called to prepare to greet the new Pope. It explains why Cardinals in the Conclave were seen waving happily to the crowd, and why the governor and marshal of the conclave prepared to greet the new Pope.
The Church's enemies, Communists and Freemasons, made an organized effort to infiltrate the Catholic Church long before the 1958 Conclave
Pope Leo XIII, Dall'Alto (# 2), Oct. 15, 1890: "It is needless now to put the Masonic sects upon their trial. They are already judged; their ends, their means, their doctrines, and their action, are all known with indisputable certainty. Possessed by the spirit of Satan, whose instrument they are, they burn like him with a deadly and implacable hatred of Jesus Christ and of His work; and they endeavor by every means to overthrow and fetter it." (The Papal Encyclicals, by Claudia Carlen, Raleigh: The Pierian Press, 1990, Vol. 2 (1878-1903), p. 226.)
Pope Leo XIII, In Ipso (# 1), March 3, 1891: "Nevertheless, it grieves us to think that the enemies of the Church, joined in most wicked conspiracy, scheme to weaken and even, if possible, utterly wipe out that wondrous edifice which God Himself has erected as a refuge for the human race." (The Papal Encyclicals, Vol. 2 (1878-1903), p. 237.)
It's a well known fact that Communists and Freemasons made organized efforts to infiltrate the Catholic Church. They sent large numbers of their own men into the priesthood hoping to weaken and attack her by moving these men to high positions.
Mrs. Bella Dodd spent most of her life in the Communist Party of America and was Attorney General designate had the Party won the White House. After her defection, she revealed that one of her jobs as a Communist agent was to encourage young radicals (not always card-carrying Communists) to enter Catholic seminaries. She said that before she had left the Party in the U.S. she had encouraged almost 1,000 young radicals to infiltrate the seminaries and religious orders; she was only one Communist.
Brother Joseph Natale, the founder of a religious monastery, was present at one of Bella Dodd's lectures in the early 1950's. He stated:
"I listened to that woman for four hours and she had my hair standing on end. Everything she said has been fulfilled to the letter. You would think she was the world's greatest prophet, but she was no prophet. She was merely exposing the step-by-step battle plan of Communist subversion of the Catholic Church. She explained that of all the world's religions, the Catholic Church was the only one feared by the Communists, for it was its only effective opponent."
Bella Dodd converted to Catholicism at the end of her life. Speaking as an ex-Communist, she said: "In the 1930's, we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to destroy the Church from within." The idea was for these men to be ordained, and then climb the ladder of influence and authority as monsignors and bishops. Back then, she said: "Right now they are in the highest places in the Church. They are working to bring about change in order that the Catholic Church would not be effective against Communism." She also said that these changes would be so drastic that "you will not recognize the Catholic Church." (This was 10 to 12 years before Vatican II.)
Brother Joseph went on relating what Bella Dodd had said: "The whole idea was to destroy, not the institution of the Church, but rather the Faith of the people, and even use the institution of the Church, if possible, to destroy the Faith through the promotion of a pseudo-religion: something that resembled Catholicism but was not the real thing. Once the Faith was destroyed, she explained that there would be a guilt complex introduced into the Church… to label the 'Church of the past' as being oppressive, authoritarian, full of predjudices, arrogant in claiming to be the sole possessor of truth, and responsible for the divisions of religious bodies throughout the centuries. This would be necessary in order to shame Church leaders into an 'openness to the world,' and to a more flexible attitude toward all religions and philosophies. The Communists would then exploit this openness in order to undermine the Church."
Freemasons made similar attempts to infiltrate the Catholic Church and elevate their own to the highest levels. The Luciferian secret society, the Carbonari, known as the Alta Vendita, wrote a set of Permanent Instructions, or Code of Rules, which appeared in Italy in 1818. It stated:
"… It becomes the duty of the secret societies to make the first advance to the Church, and to the pope, with the object of conquering both. The work for which we gird ourselves is not the work of a day, nor of a month, nor a year. It may last for many years, perhaps a century… What we must ask for, what we should look for and wait for, as the Jews wait for the Messiah, is a pope according to our wants. We require a pope for ourselves, if such a pope were possible. With such a one we shall march more securely to the storming of the Church, than with all the little books of our French and English brothers." (The Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita)
The same Freemasonic document made this striking prediction:
"In a hundred years time… bishops and priests will think they are marching behind the banner of the keys of Peter, when in fact they will be following our flag… The reforms will have to be brought about in the name of obedience." (The Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita)
These organizations and the individuals who belong to them are agents which the Devil uses to attack the true Church of Christ.
Ephesians 6:12: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in high places."
On April 3, 1844, a leader of the AltaVendita named Nubius wrote a letter to another highly-placed mason. The letter spoke again about the plan to infiltrate the Catholic Church, and the attempt to insert a masonic "pope," who would promote the religion of Freemasonry (that all faiths and beliefs lead to God). "Now then, in order to ensure a pope in the required proportions, we must first of all prepare a generation worthy of the kingdom of which we dream… Let the clergy move forward under your banner (the masonic banner) always believing they are advancing under the banner of the apostolic keys. Cast your net like Simon Bar Jonas; spread it to the bottom of sacristies, seminaries, and convents… You will have finished a revolution dressed in the pope's triple crown and cape, carrying the cross and the flag, a revolution that will need only a small stimulus to set fire to the four corners of the earth." Freemason Eliph Levi said in 1862: "A day will come when the pope… will declare that all the excommunications are lifted and all the anathemas are retracted, when all the Christians will be united within the Church, when the Jews and Moslems will be blessed and called back to her . . . she will permit all sects to approach her by degrees and will embrace all mankind in the communion of her love and prayers. Then, Protestants will no longer exist. Against what will they be able to protest? The sovereign pontiff will then be truly king of the religious world, and he will do whatever he wishes with all the nations of the earth." (Dr. Rara Coomaraswamy, The Destruction of the Christian Tradition, p. 133)
An apostate priest and former canon-lawyer, named “Fr.” Roca (1830-1893), after being excommunicated said: "The papacy will fall; it will die under the hallowed knife which the fathers of the last council will forge." (Dr. Rudolf Graber, Athanasius and the Church of Our Time) Roca also said: "You must have a new dogma, a new religion, a new ministry, and new rituals that very closely resemble those of the surrendered Church. The divine cult directed by the liturgy, ceremonial, ritual and regulations of the Roman Catholic Church will shortly undergo transformation at an ecumenical Council." (Piers Compton, The Broken Cross, p. 42.)
Malachi Martin Acknowledges Siri's Election
Even Malachi Martin, a best-selling author, a Vatican insider, and a hero of many defenders of Antipopes John XXIII and Paul VI, blows this story wide open (at least concerning the 1963 election), by admitting in his book The Keys of This Blood (pages 607-609) that it's well known that Cardinal Siri received the required number of votes to make him Pope in 1963, but that Siri's election was "set aside" by what Martin calls "a little brutality." Martin explicitly mentions that "communication" (interference) occurred between a member of the conclave and an "internationally based organization" concerning the Siri candidacy. He noted that this dealt with a "grave matter of [Vatican] state security." (It is said that the Communists may have threatened to drop nuclear explosives on the Vatican if Siri accepted the election, as well as killing every bishop behind the Iron Curtain.) So even Malachi Martin, a defender of Antipopes John XXIII and Paul VI, admitted that Cardinal Siri received pressure not to accept the office to which Martin admits he was elected. This confirms what Scortesco revealed and demonstrates, again, that the election of Giovanni Montini [Antipope Paul VI] was fraudulent.
Catholics must Profess the Faith even under Pain of Death
As noted already, some say that Siri's life and the lives of his family members were threatened, and that there was also a threat to drop an Atomic Bomb on the Vatican if he accepted the office and did not succumb and allow John XXIII to be elected.
A historian after the 1958 Conclave writes: "Should all the Cardinals be killed, as is possible now in the face of the atom bomb, the right to elect the Bishops of Rome will revert to the body which originally enjoyed it and of which the Cardinals are representatives, namely, the clergy of the Eternal City." (Paul Perrota, Pope John XXIII; His Life And Character, ThomasNelson and Sons, New York, 1959, p. 68.)
A Catholic's duty is to profess the Catholic faith to his dying breath, even under the most extreme torture, never to love his own life or that of others, more than God and the Catholic faith. In the Second Book of Machabees chapter seven we read of a woman who encouraged her seven sons to die manfully for the laws of God, and she witnesses each of their martyrdoms followed by her own.
If Catholics have the right to cow down to death threats then the Catholic faith would have died long ago. It would have died right after the very birth of the Church on Pentecost. To teach that Catholics are allowed to deny the faith under threat of death and torture is to make a mockery of the blood of the martyrs. A Catholic who denies the faith, even under the most extreme torture, is known as a lapsi, a lapsed Catholic, meaning he is automatically excommunicated and thus cast outside of the Church and is a non-Catholic. The lapsi in the early centuries had to do severe penance before being allowed back into the Catholic Church (See: St. Cyprian's treatise on "The Lapsed"). A Catholic may be physically prevented from professing the faith by banishment or imprisonment, etc., but he must never deny the faith or join the enemy camp by supporting or patronizing them in anyway, as Siri did.
As for the fear of the Atomic Bomb. Who is more powerful, God or an Atomic Bomb? Who can deliver from death in the face of overwhelming odds? Who can destroy or recreate the world by His mere Word? We read of eight Jesuits (some accounts say 4) who were praying their daily rosary, while holding fast to the Catholic faith, who survived a Nuclear Blast by God's miraculous protection. The Priests that lived eight blocks away from ground zero in Hiroshima and miraculously survived:
"When the atomic bomb destroyed Hiroshima in 1945, eight men living near the blinding centre of the nuclear flash miraculously survived the searing hurricane of blast and gamma rays, while everyone within a mile radius perished and others residing further a field continue to die from the lethal effects of radiation. For over thirty years, some 200 scientists have examined these eight men, trying in vain to determine what could have preserved them from incineration." (Francis Johnson, Fatima: The Great Sign, 1980, Tan Books)
The surprising survival of the Jesuits in Hiroshima is similar to that reported in Nagasaki, where a Franciscan friary built by Maximilian Kolbe also went unaffected. Since the bombs were dropped, the priests have been examined over 200 times by scientists. Each time the priests repeated the same explanation for their survival:
"We believe that we survived because we were living the message of Fatima. We lived and prayed the rosary in that home."
"As we are possibly on the verge of WWIII and after the recent discussions on the nuclear bombings of Catholic cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the Freemason President Truman, I started thinking about the four German Jesuit Priests that lived eight blocks away from the Shima Hospital (ground zero) in Hiroshima. The four Priests lived in the Jesuit rectory next door to the Roman Catholic church, "Our Lady's Assumption". The rectory was the only surviving wooden structure that survived the blast in the immediate area of the atomic bomb "Little Boy" on August 6th, 1945. These four surviving missionaries were "living" the Fatima Message and praying the rosary every day. The four priests were: Father Hugo Lassalle, S.J. [b. in Germany in 1898 - d. 1990] Superior of the Rectory and Church; Father Wilhelm Kleinsorge, S.J. [b. in Germany in 1907 - d. on November 17, 1977]; Father Hubert Cieslik, S.J.; and Father Hubert Schiffer, S.J.
"Father Schiffer, S.J. could not understand how, IF not through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima, because of their daily recitation of the Holy Rosary, they could have survived the extreme temperatures and pressure surges produced by the Atom bomb, let alone the radiation. Nine days later, on the Feast Day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven, Wednesday, August 15, 1945, the military of the United States in that region was ordered to cease fire. From the survivors of a fifteen-kilometer radius, the Jesuits were the only people who, after fifteen years, were still alive. All the rest had died due to radiation exposure. At the time of the detonation and radiation fall-out, the Jesuits converted their Novitiate at Nagatsuka, a suburb by the mountains near Hiroshima, into a makeshift hospital and managed to care for two hundred severely burnt and scarred people.
"This story reminds me of Daniel Chapter 3, of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who were sent into a blazing furnace because of their stand to exclusively serve their God alone. King Nebuchadnezzar II, of Babylon, built a nine-story high statue, made of gold. When the project was complete, he prepared a dedication ceremony to this image, ordering all surrounding inhabitants to bow down and worship it. The consequence for not worshiping the idol, upon hearing the cue of instruments, was execution in a fiery furnace. By God's angel, they were delivered out of harm's way from this order of execution by the King of Babylon. The four Jesuit Priests also endured the fires of the atomic furnace by standing up for their God and denying to worship anything the Freemason Truman was forcing on them and their country. The faith of these four Priests was testament of their survival after the rumors of war loomed overhead."
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom," (Psalm 110:10) and not the fear of the atomic bomb or death. And as has been shown, not even the power of an atomic bomb is anything in comparison with the infinite power of the Almighty God.
Cardinal Siri's Own Testimony
But besides the testimony of Martin and Scortesco, an interview that Cardinal Siri gave before his death is worthy of note. In a published interview with the Marquis de Franquerey, Louis Remy and Francis Delay, Siri was asked questions on various topics, including what Scortesco revealed about his election. While denying other things in the interview, Siri would not deny that he was elected Pope. All he would say was that:
"I am bound by the secret. This secret is horrible. I would have books to write about the different conclaves, very serious things have taken place, but I can say nothing."
The interviewers concluded that since Siri denied other things they asked him, but would not deny that he had been elected, what Scortesco said must be true. One should note that Siri was mistaken about being bound by the secret of the conclave. The secret of the conclave would not bind when the salvation of millions of souls are at stake – and when it had already been totally violated by the pack of French apostates and conspirators who had conferred with the B'nai Brith. And the horrible secrets of the conclave to which Siri alluded without a doubt refer to the unlawful intervention of outside forces which blocked his ability to accept the Chair of Peter.
It seems obvious from the evidence that the notorious set of white smoke that was seen by everyone on October 26, 1958 indicated the election of the true Pope, Cardinal Siri. Everyone, even the Cardinals, believed we had a new Pope. But then the Freemasons and the Communists got involved and prevented the new Pope from assuming the office. This was the outside communication which Scortesco revealed. Then the white smoke changed to black smoke and two days later the Freemasons and the Communists implanted their man, the Freemasonic agent, Angelo Roncalli (Antipope John XXIII). The same interference occurred in the 1963 conclave, although, in this case, Cardinal Siri had his election illegally blocked in favor of the infiltrator Giovanni Montini – Antipope Paul VI.
30 Days Magazine, a magazine favorable to the Vatican II Antipopes, held an interview in 1994 with the head of Italian Freemasonry, the Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Italy.
The Grand Master stated: "As for that, it seems that John XXIII was initiated into a Masonic Lodge in Paris and participated in the work of the Istanbul workshops." (Giovanni Cubeddu, 30 Days, Issue No. 2-1994, p. 25.)
So it's obvious that Antipope John XXIII was a Freemasonic agent whose mission was to begin the attempted demolition of the Church of Christ by means of his false council. And, as the pictures and evidence shows, Paul VI was frequently seen wearing the breast-plate of a Jewish High-Priest, in addition to his attempt to demolish Catholic Tradition as soon as he assumed power.
The Vicar of Christ cannot Serve the Vicar of Antichrist
No authority on earth is above the pope. Siri submitted to John XXIII as the true pope, and recognized him as such, and that alone would disqualify him as pope for serving a false vicar.
Pope Hadrian II, Fourth Council of Constantinople, Feb. 28, 870: "Therefore, to safeguard Church order, we anathematize... everyone who henceforth acts deceitfully and fraudulently and falsifies the word of truth and goes through the motions of having false vicars..."
Not only did Siri falsify the word of truth by serving the false vicar, John XXIII, he also served the following false vicars, Antipopes Paul VI, John Paul I, and John Paul II and recognized them as popes. It is contrary to the papacy (and plain common sense) that the Vicar of Christ—the pope—should serve false vicars and refer to them as popes. It is contrary to the papacy that a true pope should serve anyone on earth, let alone Vicars of Satan (manifest heretics). Either a pope is the pope and thus he must act and behave as a pope or he is not.
Catholics are bound to profess the faith openly when it is threatened. Evil, unjust, or satanic oaths are never binding, and must be repudiated and exposed. Those who do not expose the evil to the light of day and remain silent are guilty of the very sins they do not expose.
1917 Code of Canon Law, Canon 1325.1 "The Obligation to Profess the Faith - The faithful are bound to profess their faith openly whenever under the circumstances silence, evasion, or their manner of acting would otherwise implicitly amount to a denial of the faith, or would involve contempt of religion, an offense to God, or scandal to the neighbor."
Pope St. Felix III (483-492): "Not to oppose error, is to approve it, and indeed to neglect to confound evil men, when we can do it, is no less a sin than to encourage them."
Pope Leo XIII, Inimica Vis: "An error which is not resisted is approved; a truth which is not defended is suppressed."
Siri did not speak the truth, resist error and confound evil men. Instead he joined their camp and defended them by his silence.
Siri was a Manifest Heretic
Siri also signed the heretical Vatican II documents proving he was a heretic, and that is the root of his whole problem, and why God had allowed him to be bewitched, because he would not obey the truth. "O senseless Galatians, who hath bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been set forth, crucified among you?" (Galatians 3:1)
Every bishop who signed or supported any one of the Vatican II documents was with all certainty publicly guilty of being manifest or notorious heretics and automatically excommunicated and outside the Catholic Church along with the automatic loss of any offices they may have held in the Catholic Church, and that includes Siri! What goes for one goes for all.
Moreover, a promoter of the Siri Thesis admits that Siri confirmed the heretical Vatican II documents, which proves that Siri must be accounted a heretic according to his external works: "Regarding his signature on the ambiguous Vatican II documents, it was not rendered in his official capacity as Pope but, was written simply as 'Giuseppe Cardinal Siri'".
Siri proved his allegiance to the Conciliar Church by supporting the Novus Ordo Mass in his diocese and was under the authority of apostate antipopes until his death. There is a picture of Siri on the balcony with John Paul II in 1978, when John Paul II made his first appearance to the people after his fake election. Again, if Siri were the pope, what would his duty as pope have been?
Pope Eugenius IV, Council Of Basel, Session 23, March 26, 1436, On The Election Of The Supreme Pontiff: "[Form of consent] In the name of the holy and undivided Trinity, Father, Son and holy Spirit. I, N., elected pope, with both heart and mouth confess and profess to almighty God, whose Church I undertake with his assistance to govern, and to blessed Peter, prince of the apostles, that as long as I am in this fragile life I will firmly believe and hold the Catholic faith, according to the tradition of the apostles, of general councils and of other holy fathers, especially of the eight holy universal councils — namely the first at Nicaea, the second at Constantinople, the third which was the first at Ephesus, the fourth at Chalcedon, the fifth and sixth at Constantinople, the seventh at Nicaea and the eighth at Constantinople — as well as of the general councils at the Lateran, Lyons, Vienne, Constance and Basel, and to preserve intact this faith unchanged to the last dot, and to defend and preach it to the point of death and the shedding of my blood, and likewise to follow and observe in every way the rite handed down of the ecclesiastical sacraments of the Church. I promise also to labour faithfully for the defence of the Catholic faith, the extirpation of heresies and errors, the reform of morals and the peace of the Christian people. I swear also to continue with the holding of general councils and the confirmation of elections in accordance with the decrees of the holy council of Basel. I have signed this profession with my own hand; I offer it on the altar with a sincere mind to you almighty God, to whom on the day of tremendous judgment I shall have to give an account of this and all my deeds; and I will repeat it at the first public consistory. 'So that this salutary institution may not fade from the supreme pontiff's memory with the passage of time, every year on the anniversary of his election or of his coronation, the first cardinal present shall, during mass, publicly and in a loud voice address the supreme pontiff thus: Most holy father, may your holiness heed and carefully ponder the promise which you made to God on the day of your election. He shall then read out the promise and shall continue as follows: May your holiness, therefore, for the honour of God, for the salvation of your soul and for the good of the universal Church, strive to observe to your utmost all these things in good faith and without guile or fraud. Recall whose place it is that you hold on earth, namely of him who laid down his life for his sheep who thrice asked the blessed Peter if he loved him, before he entrusted his sheep to him', and who, as the just judge whom nothing secret escapes, will exact from you an account of everything to the very last farthing. Remember what blessed Peter and his successors as pontiffs did: they thought only of the honour of God, the spread of the faith, the public good of the Church and the salvation and benefit of the faithful; finally, imitating their master and Lord they did not hesitate to lay down their lives for the sheep entrusted to them. Do not lay up for yourself or your kinsfolk treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves and robbers break in, but lay up for yourself treasure in heaven. Do not be an accepter of persons or of blood-ties or of homeland or of nation. All people are children of God and have been equally entrusted to your care and safe-keeping. Say after the example of Christ: Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother. In distributing dignities and benefices put before yourself neither the flesh nor gifts nor anything temporal at all, but solely God and the virtues and merits of people. Exercise ecclesiastical discipline in correcting faults, mindful of what grace Phinehas merited and what punishment Eli, the one for avenging injuries to God, the other for pretending not to know them. Defend, help and support the poor and needy. Show a fatherly charity to all."
Pope Pius VI, Inscrutabile, On The Problems Of The Pontificate, December 25, 1775: "The affair is of the greatest importance since it concerns the Catholic faith, the purity of the Church, the teaching of the saints, the peace of the empire, and the safety of nations. Since it concerns the entire body of the Church, it is a special concern of yours because you are called to share in Our pastoral concern, and the purity of the faith is particularly entrusted to your watchfulness. "Now therefore, Brothers, since you are overseers among God's people and their soul depends on you, raise their hearts to your utterance," that they may stand fast in faith and achieve the rest which is prepared for believers only. Beseech, accuse, correct, rebuke and fear not: for ill-judged silence leaves in their error those who could be taught, and this is most harmful both to them and to you who should have dispelled the error. The holy Church is powerfully refreshed in the truth as it struggles zealously for the truth. In this divine work you should not fear either the force or favor of your enemies. The bishop should not fear since the anointing of the Holy Spirit has strengthened him: the shepherd should not be afraid since the prince of pastors has taught him by his own example to despise life itself for the safety of his flock: the cowardice and depression of the hireling should not dwell in a bishop's heart. Our great predecessor Gregory, in instructing the heads of the churches, said with his usual excellence: "Often imprudent guides in their fear of losing human favor are afraid to speak the right freely. As the word of truth has it, they guard their flock not with a shepherd's zeal but as hirelings do, since they flee when the wolf approaches by hiding themselves in silence. … A shepherd fearing to speak the right is simply a man retreating by keeping silent." But if the wicked enemy of the human race, the better to frustrate your efforts, ever brings it about that a plague of epidemic proportions is hidden from the religious powers of the world, please do not be terrified but walk in God's house in harmony, with prayer, and in truth, the three arms of our service. Remember that when the people of Juda were defiled, the best means of purification was the public reading to all, from the least to the greatest, of the book of the law lately found by the priest Helcias in the Lord's temple; at once the whole people agreed to destroy the abominations and seal a covenant in the Lord's presence to follow after the Lord and observe His precepts, testimonies and ceremonies with their whole heart and soul. For the same reason Josaphat sent priests and Levites to bring the book of the law throughout the cities of Juda and to teach the people. The proclamation of the divine word has been entrusted to your faith by divine, not human, authority. So assemble your people and preach to them the gospel of Jesus Christ. From that divine source and heavenly teaching draw draughts of true philosophy for your flock. Persuade them that subjects ought to keep faith and show obedience to those who by God's ordering lead and rule them."
Unlike a true Vicar of Christ, Siri was first and foremost a manifest heretic, and a manifest heretic cannot be pope. Second he was a coward who loved his life more than God and denied his cross and the faith in the face of threats from the enemy—he was a hireling. Third, he served false vicars, referring to them as popes, and received, defended, and patronized the heretical Vatican II documents and the Conciliar Church.
Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, A.D. 1215: "We decree that those who give credence to the teachings of heretics, as well as those who receive, defend, or patronize them, are excommunicated."
There are some that say Siri was predestined to be pope by showing a picture of him when he was a Cardinal with a white dove resting on his head. Well, I do not know the exact year, but when Bill Clinton was giving a speech that was broadcast worldwide, it was either his acceptance speech of the presidency of the United States of America or to the United Nations, a white dove landed on his podium and stayed there for a long time. Many believed this was a sign that God was with Bill Clinton. Catholics are never to trust signs unless they also discern the spirits, by looking at the doctrine and character of the person whom the sign points to. Many are deceived in these final days by lying signs and wonders (2 Thessalonians 2:9).
It is indeed true that Siri could have been elected the Pope, but since we only can judge a man's external works, and not his thoughts or secret conversations, we must judge Siri to be a heretic and condemn him as such, since he signed the Vatican II documents, which are so manifestly heretical and evil that no amount of excuse can be given to a bishop who signs them. When St. Peter denied knowing Our Lord three times, he committed an act of apostasy, and one of course cannot excuse this act by claiming that he was afraid for his life.
The information about the elections of Cardinal Siri in 1958 and 1963 is not necessary to prove that the apostates John XXIII and Paul VI were not valid Popes; nor is it necessary to prove that the Vatican II heretics who subsequently came from their line, John Paul I, John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and now Francis I, were not valid Popes. But these facts show that the "elections" of John XXIII and Paul VI were uncanonical. This is extremely valuable and important because it explains how this false church of the Vatican II Antipopes got started, and why its official decrees and teachings are not protected by the Holy Ghost. It explains that it was an uncanonical election which started this entire schism of the Vatican II sect, which will probably go down in the Eternal Book of Judgment – with the Great Eastern and Great Western Schisms – as "The Final Schism."
Prophecy of St. Francis of Assisi (d. 1226): "There will be an uncanonically elected Pope who will cause a great schism, there will be diverse thoughts preached which will cause many, even those in the different orders to doubt, yea, even agree with those heretics which will cause my Order to divide, then will there be such universal dissensions and persecutions that if those days were not shortened even the elect would be lost." We believe that St. Francis of Assisi may in fact be referring to the invalid and uncanonical election of Antipope John XXIII. This uncanonical election started the apocalyptic nightmare of the Great Apostasy that is now upon us.
Prophecy of Blessed Joachim (d. 1202): "Towards the end of the world, Antichrist will overthrow the pope and usurp his see." (Rev. Culleton, The Reign of Antichrist, Tan Books, 1974, p. 130.)
Prophecy of St. Nicholas of Fluh (1417-1487): "The Church will be punished because the majority of her members, high and low, will become so perverted. The Church will sink deeper and deeper until she will at last seem to be extinguished, and the succession of Peter and the other Apostles to have expired. But, after this, she will be victoriously exalted in the sight of all doubters."
The Cardinal Siri information should help people realize that those who accept the Vatican II "Popes" from John XXIII to Francis I are not only accepting non-Catholic apostates who have implemented a counterfeit religion, but men who weren't even canonically chosen by the College of Cardinals.
Those who want more proof that the elections of Antipopes John XXIII and Paul VI were invalid need only to examine the revolution they caused. One needs only to think of the desolation of the faith that ensued, and the millions of souls that have been lost. And one needs only to consider how they wasted no time in systematically trying to dismantle the Catholic Church.
